My nanny works for us about 15 hours a week and started in January. I had a question about the holiday bonus since this is my first time having a nanny.
I am planning on giving her off Christmas week and Dec 30 and 31, paid. Would I have to give a bonus on top of this or is the extra paid vacation considered ok? I'm also giving her a gift from my son. This year I've paid her for two full weeks vacation and some sick days and snow days. Thank you. |
| Maybe throw in an extra cash or gift card with the gift from your son. Doesn't need to be a big bucks, whatever is comfortable on your budget.. That's if you have extra, if not the gift from your son and maybe a card stating how much you appreciate her would okey. |
| Since she was planning on working and getting paid that week anyway, she really isn't getting anything extra from it. I'm sure she wold appreciate a little extra cash around the holidays. |

I meant she would be off the second 12/31 and 1/1. She works Tues-Thurs.
Thanks for the advice. |
| You don't gotta go crazy esp if you're already giving her a week paid during the holidays. |
