Background check, driving record for a new nanny RSS feed

Hi there parents. We are in the process of hiring a nanny for the first time, and was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how we can go about doing a background check and also how we can check the nanny's driving record. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would ask her to bring a copy of her DMV printout.

She can very easily obtain a copy of her state criminal record at her local police precinct.
