What to pay nanny share in close-in MoCo?

We're looking at a nanny share for our infant in the Silver Spring area. What is the going hourly rate per family? Would be two children -- an infant and a toddler. (we're assuming the nanny is legal and that we'd pay our share of taxes in addition to hourly rate.)

You have to ask the nanny her rates. Can be anywhere 15-30/hr in the DC area.

PP is crazy. There is no way the going rate is $15-30/hr per family in SS. Your going rate combined is $18-20, as high as $22, so the breakdown is $9-11/hr per family.

I'd pay on the higher side for a share, $22/hr.

When I worked a share in close in SS, my rate was $18/hour. I had no previous share experience, so a more experienced nanny may expect a higher rate. Good luck!
