I am preparing to offer a position for a new babysitter/nanny. I would like to run a background check on her. I know both sittercity and care.com offer these services, but I've heard they are not of the best quality.
Can anyone recommend a background check service? |
| What state? Also, did she already give you a signed release form? Maybe the company will provide the form for her. |

I totally agree...Do not rely on Care.com or Sittercity.com for a background check.
These are not very reliable. Perhaps enannysource.com? |
| NannyVerify.com - it was easy and only took a day or two. Biggest hassle was getting the signed waiver back from the nanny, but that's the law. |
Good that you got the signed form. I've heard of parents not getting the nanny's signature. Can only imagine they forged her signature. |
