Quick rate question:
I was asked about a job picking up child at one location, and dropping at another location. About 1/2 hour drive into downtown from another part of the city. Any thoughts on what would be a reasonable way to charge for this. I told mom my regular hourly rate + mileage off the top of my head - haven't confirmed with her yet, it was a ballpark. Just trying to figure out what is fair as this would leave me downtown. I'd need to drive about 15 minutes from my house/regular job to pick up child, drop child downtown, and return home. I've never worked with this family before and the child is 10 years old. Thoughts? |
