I'm babysitting my charges tonight. One of them had quite a bit of homework left. mb told me that if she got too tired and didn't want to do it, I was to do it for her. I'm kind of shocked, to say the least. I've never been asked to do a charge's homework before. How on earth is she supposed to learn if everyone does everything for her?!

Would NEVER do that. Wouldn't go back. Almost as bad as asking me to spank their kid. (True.)

Are you their nanny? All I can say, is if you're a professional, you absolutely cannot do that. This child will have no respect for you, for good reason.
"Parents" like that are plain lazy and they want you to be to. Answer is no. I'd be horrified to. |

| op here: I used to be their full-time Nanny, but since the kids are in school, I babysit on a still-frequent basis. I'm a teacher now, and I still consider them my charges. |

I guess it could be that the amount of hw was inappropriate. I don't know. But still. The parent should deal with the teacher if there's a problem with the hw.
The parent here is virtually training the child how to be a cheater. |

No I haven't and if I was asked to do it, I wouldn't do it.
I would respond that I would make every effort to assist her w/it, but wouldn't personally do it myself. What a nutjob this MB is. |

This is another perfect example of why nannies need to exercise healthy boundaries. You DO NOT do anything the parent wants. Some things are clearly plain WRONG. |
