I have to travel out of the country for about a week. I would like to hire a nanny to help my wife out with our three small children while I am gone. What would be the best way to find a temporary nanny? Would an agency be best? |
You and your wife should ask everyone you know. Trusted personal recommendations are best. Agencies are a crap shoot and cost a fortune. |
Hi,
I may know of someone if you are interested. A friend of mine just had to let her nanny go because the kids were going to school. She was with them for almost 3 years and has over 20 years experience. I know that she is looking for part time work until she can find a permanent position. My friend hired her from White House Nannies so I know she has passed all of the required background checks. Let me know if you would like her contact information. I can also give you my friend's contact information for a reference. Good luck in your search ![]() |
An agency would be best, however you will have to shell out a pretty penny for it. If you can afford to, then by all means do it.
If you do not have the means to go that route, I suggest Care.com or Sittercity.com. Or if you could get a referral from a trusted parent even better. Stay away from Craigslist however!!!!!!! |
