Switching agencies - financial incentives? RSS feed

Anonymous
I am considering switching agencies (I am currently with APIA) mainly because I'd like to start with a deeper pool of candidates (I am looking for an arrival date in an "off" time of year and have very specific language/nationality requirements).

Do agencies typically provide any kind of financial incentive to switch? (like the phone/cable co - LOL).

I am not unhappy with APIA, just thinking ahead re pool of candidates.

Cultural Care does. We were with APIA and switched purely to save the $750 or so for the year. We're going back to APIA for this year. I haven't been nearly as happy with the quality of the candidates, the LCC, or the other friends in the cluster. Could be just by chance that we were so much less happy this year, but I'm not taking the chance again for a few hundred bucks. CC does have a way better website though.

yes, they all have the 'thanks for switching' discount.

i also was with APIA and joined a few other ones (since its free), to search for candidates. I happened to find my new AP at a different agency.

so shop around!
