Not without details. I wouldn't recommend a case to a friend without knowing if it were worth the time and effort to take the case. Here? You can never tell without details.

OP depending on where in MD you are, check out a local law school, they should have a legal clinic where you can talk to a student about the details of your case. They should have better information for you on how/if you should proceed.
