Nanny Magazine is the only magazine for nannies. We're launching in January 2014, bringing great content to readers. Help us start up!
What Is Nanny Magazine? Our Mission By publishing a magazine uniquely geared toward nannies, Nanny Magazine provides a resource offering advice, ideas, and a dose of care to those who spend their whole careers caring for others. Nanny Magazine needs YOUR help to bring us to life. Check out our Kickstarter campaign and see how you can make Nanny Magazine the real deal! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nannymagazine/nanny-magazine-help-bring-us-to-life About Nanny Magazine Nanny Magazine is a bimonthly publication designed for nannies who care for children ranging in age from newborn through age 18. The magazine also has a heavy online presence that continually connects nannies with one another and informs the public about what is going on today in the life of a nanny. The magazine’s tagline, teach.play.love, embraces everything that Nanny Magazine provides for its readers. Teach. Nanny Magazine covers education at all levels, for both the child and the nanny. We will provide engaging content to give nannies easy access to the latest news in pediatric health, like the latest trends in word recognition, so that they are fully equipped to do their job. But we also cover education for the nannies – professional education, tax education, and contract education, just to name a few. Like any other professional, nannies need to have the tools they need to be successful in their careers. Play. Nanny Magazine understands the value of play. Our readers are active influences in the lives of their charges, whether running around outside pretending or sitting contentedly inside creating. To encourage this behavior, we provide nannies with many how-to ideas and advice on how to keep the kids happy, healthy, and exploring their world through play. Love. Nanny Magazine is all about love. Validating a nanny’s love for a child, embracing a child’s love for their nanny, respecting a parent’s love for a child, sustaining a nanny’s love for themselves and their job, and tempering too much love when needed. Nannying is a profession of caring, but those nonparental relationships can often be difficult to navigate. Nanny Magazine provides support and advice for readers to manage this tricky aspect of the job. |

Nanny Magazine has also created nanny themed t-shirts to help fund their campaign. Below is the link if you are interested in checking out the shirts or making a purchase, all proceeds will go to Nanny Magazine.

Oh my God. You've tried multiple times to advertise your stupid magazine on this forum. If you STILL haven't gotten any bites, that is probably because we don't give a shit.
Go away. |
| I think it's a good idea, actually |
Who would buy and wear one of those shirts?
|
Lol I know. Bad...bad...bad. |
| I'm sorry but those shirts are awful and I would NEVER wear one. So cheesy. |
| Why should we pay for you to make money? Go fund your own start up! |
| Those shirts are EMBARRASSING |
+1 these girls sound ridiculous. Your "nanny magazine" topics are the same things you can find in forums like these or other websites all over the internet. |
|
I think tackling a magazine + internet site is way too much to tackle.
If you're dead set on doing this, you should focus on the internet site. Nannies are your key focus. As a nanny, I'm much more likely to visit a website for tips/stories/whatever vs paying for a monthly subscription. The only magazines I buy are impulse buys in the grocery line. |
|
Wow!!always I think this is nice idea,I love to have a shirts
With this sentence,I'm a great nanny,or sweet nanny,or others nieces sentence. |
| I type some thing wrong because I was on my phone. |
Lol |

I have no opinion on the viability of this magazine.
However, the latest trends in word recognition is not the latest in pediatric health. You need to work on your copy. |
