How to provide health care for nanny?

What is the most affordable to way to provide health care coverage for a nanny?

A set monthly stipend. She can choose her own plan and put your contribution toward it.

How does that work if I use a payroll company? Is it just me writing her a $300 check or something, or does it come out of the payroll company and are there tax benefits for doing a health care stipend?thanks!

You would write her the check monthly.

I am certain that you can deduct it from your taxes, because my employers do, but I don't know exactly under what heading - I'll let another employer/more experienced with taxes person answer that detail.
