Average maybe.... 20/hr total combined from both families.

$18-$20/hour. Most families split evenly because the pros and cons of being host/non host pretty much even out.

Also depends on the number of hours you need. If you need 45-50 hours per week (and that rate is guaranteed), you can probably find someone for a slightly lower hourly rate because of the additional overtime at time and a half.

for example:
$18/hr at 40 hours = $720

$17/hr at 45 hours (5 of which would be time and a half) = $807.50

$16/hr at 50 hours (10 of which would be time and a half) = $880

Keep in mind future raises, holidays, sick days, vacation days too.

You can probably find someone for minimum wage. It all depends on what you want.
