Temp nanny dilemma

I was a temp nanny for a family while there daycare provider was on holidays. The job as 2 days a week for 6 weeks. I only works 4 due to the holidays.
MB asked me what I charge per hour. I said 15.... On payday which was after the first 3 weeks DB came home and paid me at 17 an hour. Delighted... But confused.... I contacted MB's via email and said I'm not sure if you had a communication error or something... She said its all good 17 an hour is fine. My last day of work she handed me a cheque for the amount of 1 day.... I didn't see it right away because I was saying goodbye to the charges til I got in the car.... Not too sure how to handle this. Very sweet family. Mb brought me home flowers and a gift card as well as a beautiful picture drawn by the oldest charge. Do I just let it go... |

Did both checks total the amount of 15per hour for the 4weeks? How much was the difference?
If it wasn't much I'd let it go and never work for them again but remember next time to be paid weekly. |

| No it's over 100 bucks..... And with all the hours tallied at 15 an hour equals to 20 more than what she would have paid me... |

Wow, how sweet. Yes, I would make sure it wasn't a mistake. I too would feel awkward. Does this family seem well to do, it would be a lot harder for me to take extra cash from a struggling family. |
