payroll, short notice

I blame my new mommy brain but I totally forgot about setting up payroll for our nanny who will start early next year. I prefer to pay an accountant or do it myself. How do I get started? We are in MD.

I use Breedlove, works great for us. If you type Breedlove into the search feature, you"ll find old threads where people have recommended various companies (i forget the names of the others).

Pp here. Forgot to mention, since the forms for Breedlove are online, you can set things up pretty fast. You might have to do your first payroll by check though, rather than direct deposit because that can take a week or two if I remember correctly.

I second the breedlove recommendation. They got us all set up very very quickly and they've been great.
