Experience with SitterCity or White House Nannies?

| We are looking to hire a nanny for our infant daughter. It will be my first experience finding and hiring a nanny and I am a little intimidated. Has anyone out there used SitterCity or White House Nannies? Any thoughts? Pros/Cons? Thanks for any input. |

| Apples and oranges. Sittercity is DIY - meaning YOU do it all. Interviewing, screening, reference checking, background checking and negotiation all the details. White House Nannies is an agency and they do most of this for you. Hence the difference in the price tag. |
