Lwt me just start off by saying that normally I love my MB and I'm a long term nanny with this family... But... During MB's maternity leave she is driving me insane. She has a full time nanny (me) working 60 hrs a week, housekeeper 3x week, weekend nanny, AND a night nurse 5x week. Yet all she does is make a mess all over the house and complain about how tired she is. Wut?? We are doing all the work, lady. I can't wait until she goes back to work. 13 more weeks :-/

I worked for a mom like but only 1-2 days a week...i was the relief nanny. And her youngest was 3. She didn't leave messes all over but was super anal in the opposite direction but she was allexhausted even though she did nothing. She's now going thru a divorce that she's making nasty even tho the dad has been so nice during the whole thing.

I'd ask your mb what you can do tobsupport her so she's not tired all the time...fake an expression of concern. Say you're worried about her because she's so tired even tho she has all this help. Pretend yu're concerned while bringong her whining for no reason to her attention. Ask if she's been checked for anemia, cancer, depression whatever.

Have you ever had a child? Having a baby really takes a tole on some people's body's. everybody reacts differently, mentally and physically it can be exhausting even if you're actually only doing minimal work.

It may feel as though she isn't doing any work, but your MB just may be a worrier. When my MB went on maternity leave she had a ton of help too, but I could see her mentally exhausting herself with worry and not liking feeling useless. She and I are relatively close and talk often so I know that she worries about EVERYTHING, and the type to sit in one place and think herself tired. Ask her if there is anything you can do to help.

I'm an MB, and usually hate these statements, but - seriously - 3 nannies for what is in essence around-the-clock child care? Seems a bit excessive.
