Annoying Condesending Weekend Nanny! WTD?

I am a 24/5 nanny M-F in NYC. On Friday nights the weekend nanny starts and she works until I get back on Monday morning. We work for a wealthy high profile employer.

I only see this girl a couple hours a week, but she annoys the heck out of me. I was told that I would get to make all the desisions regarding the children, and she has to follow my instructions because I am his primary caregiver. But I get texts and emails non stop from her during the week giving "reminders" and "suggesting" a book I need to read on child development.

No one knows how she got a job with this prime family, who pays very well. She doesent have any experience working for one family, more than a couple months. She does stupid somewhat dangerous things to the babies. And every Monday I show up, the kids are in bad shape- sick, diaper rash, gaunt.

She often blames me for her wrong doings. That he has diaper rash because I did not bring up the stock of extra diapers, so she couldn't change their diapers. The babies are usually out and about on the weekends with the parents and grand parents, and they never take the weekend nanny with them. She has a load of down time to do things, like restock in kids rooms. But in Monday morning she is happy to show me that she is trying on MB designer cloths and shoes when they go out.

MB & DB confessed that they can't stand her and don't trust her. They never like to leave the kids alone with her, only during nap time. I confessed my feelings about her to my MB last night. And MB says she can't stand her, but they had such a hard time finding someone who would work only weekends and speaks English. I know she is paid very well, $1000 a weekend. I think she is trying to sabatage me. She seems to want to sabatage me, by blaming all her mistakes on me. She and MB went on an outing, and the littlest soaked through her diaper. Weekend nanny lectured me that I need to pack a change of clothes in the stroller, and it was all my fault. I think she should have changed baby before they went out, and packed the stroller appropriately for their outing.

I want to get her fired! She is annoying! Guess this is more a vent!

If MB and DB hate her, they should fire her. I'd think their be tons of people who'd want a weekend job that pays $1000! Hell, I'd move right now.

I wouldn't worry about her sabatoging you, your bosses seem to prefer you and trust you more so.

I don't believe everything you're saying, simply because you want us to believe from Friday night to Monday morning the babies become GAUNT. I have been around babies who are medically deemed malnutritioned, and I guarantee you that if those babies are fed properly during the week, then they are NOT gaunt come Monday mornings.

I find it hard to believe there are no english speaking nannies in NYC willing to work for 1000 a weekend.

If the children are put and about with parents/grandparents all weekend then how is it the nanny's fault that the kids have diaper rash? Nice one, troll.
