OP here: It's honestly not that great. I got lucky with the current family I am working for. It took me 3 months to find a full-time, good paying job here. I make $16/hr with this family but all of the families I was talking to before them, were only looking to pay $10/hr-$12/hr. To find a good paying job, you'd need to venture closer to the Boston area as no one in RI really pays that high.
