I have told them I will set up a Venmo account so that they can pay me through that but they have a ton of excuses as to why they haven’t gotten around to doing that yet.

I want to quit over these two issues, would you consider these dealbreakers or should I allow them more time to rectify?


Would they put up with you being 15 to 20 minutes late every day even if they deducted that time from your paycheck? There is no excuse for paying you late and is a valid reason for quitting.

The 15-20 minutes should be paid at overtime rates.

Yes even if they are compensating you for any extra time spent working - they are still in the wrong for repeatedly coming home later than promised.

Same goes for payday.
I wouldn’t consider one late paycheck a valid reason to quit, but if they just didn’t feel like paying you one week for whatever reason then I wouldn’t stay.
