The point of this post
A nanny who do her job and beyond during the year I believe Should be rewarded with a bonus end of year employers appreciation |
I’ve has zero time off with covid and my job has been so incredibly hard. I’ve done so much for this family. I’ve been with them for a few years and other years I’ve received a bonus. I get along with the parents and this really hurts my feelings. I think about it every day at work and now I feel so unappreciated. I used to love going to work and now I don’t even want to be there. I’m still working hard with the boys but I’m not doing anything for the parents anymore. Why bother, when they don’t appreciate it? |
Is there any possibility they are having financial problems? |
OP, just ask! We gave our nanny 2 weeks' plus extra PTO over the holidays.

I think a lot of families are just cheap and take and take and take. I’ve stopped doing all extras and the house looks like a tip now. I don’t live here, so it’s not my problem! |
(And in in American a ‘tip’ is where the rubbish goes, like a junk heap. Not an extra pay!) |
Employers do not appreciate the extras you do Stop deluding yourself. You are the help, nothing more. |
I’m happy to be the HELP making almost $80000 per year
Bonus $3500 iPhone 12 pro max and a beautiful drawing from My smart little man As I say do your job well and a little HELP Here and there For employers by GOD Grace you will be rewarded Some employers don’t appreciate but most do |
Wvhoooohooooo my bosses didn’t give me a bonus but now their millionaire tax dollars will have to pay me $2000, so it’s like I got a bonus from them anyway. Thanks Bernie and the state of Georgia, for the bonus my ungrateful bosses didn’t give me this year!! |
I have realized this. It took me awhile. After 6 years with the same family, the parents have shown me during the pandemic how little they care about me. I honestly don’t even know why my boss keeps me around. The mom is so obviously jealous and does these weird creepy things and I’m like lady I don’t want to steal the affection of your kids. Calm down. I’m here for a JOB. |
