Asked to run errands on weekends

I’m a nanny who does things for my charges on weekends (grocery shopping for charge, food preparation, art projects, ordering supplies, and sometimes charges’ laundry) just because it makes my week easier. My employers would never ask nor would I ever accept them asking. Getting stuff done on weekends gives me much needed downtime when they’re napping.

Tell them it it OVERTIME in advance. I guarantee they will
stop.

Tell them you do not answer their phone calld , read texts, or emails while off duty. Otherwise, you will need to be paid at OT rates in 15 minutes increments.
