how do you treat nanny taking care of personal biz during the day? RSS feed

No, we far prefer it when our nanny takes our baby to run errands, as opposed to requiring us to leave work in the middle of the day to come home. He loves to get out and about anyway.

Why is it a big deal for your baby to be in the car for 1 hour, presumably 30 minutes each way?

I didn't want baby to ride around in a car for an hour so asked her to drop him at grandma's.
She was gone for 2 hours total. Would you deduct those hours (she works more than 40 a week), just pay them, or??

It's 12:17, and presumably, you are using office time to post. Should your boss dock you?

If it's not something that she does regularly, I'd just pay her. And let her take the baby along, unless it interferes with naptime.
