Do you (and how often) text your nanny when she is off? RSS feed

When I text her with something DD said that was funny, she always responds in kind. She always asks me to text when she leaves on Fridays (she doesn’t work on Mondays so ever weekend is three days away).

The older DD gets, the more she wants to touch base with her nanny on weekends. I keep it very short. But wonder if nanny is just too kind to tell me that it bugs her.

The is the nanny's time off and unless you are psuing OT for you spoiled brat to bother thevnanny, teach her some manners and stop this harrassment.

Oh, chill, Drama Queen. The nanny is a grown woman and can both speak for herself as well as not pick up her phone.

My charge isn’t a brat, you pathetic troll. I like when she calls.

I love hearing from my little guys whenever wherever. What a cheer up!

I like hearing from my NF when I am not there. Shows they are thinking of me

I love my charges and it’s okay to send photos here and there, but please do not call or FaceTime me after my shift hours. Especially not every night or every weekend.

I think you should rein that in OP. Your nanny deserves to have her weekends free from work - just as you do.

I text my nanny only if we have a lost critical item (think woobie) or if something is changing about when we need her to come in, etc...

Don't abuse her graciousness - let her be unless you need to have contact. Your child can go two days without talking to/seeing her.
