I would not hire her! Her first gut reaction is lying which is bad. She also didn't listen to your husband. Additionally even though it was a test day she needs to be loving but firm if it was a house rule or rule by mom or dad not to twirl your daughter she should have enforce this. If your daughter was super playful she could have redirected that energy to outside play such as hide and seek or home maid obstacle course. But let your daughter still understand that she wont twirl her because of safety reasons but we have other fun activities we can do that are safe. Again all of these are warning signs. First was she lies for convenience and to save face , second she didn't listen to your husband, third she doesn't define boundaries, fourth she not creativity enough to redirect child to a fun but more safe activity.
