OP, disregard the crazies - it's just the price of interaction on DCUM...

If they are open to lengthening your shift, that's a good sign. Can you bring up again the need for the baby to nap in the afternoon. If the kid naps 12-2, he should have no trouble falling asleep in the evening.

I am very glad to find this site. After , your all support I was able to communicate with family. They don't want to lose me so they are agree to give him one long nap during afternoon.
No morning nap any more.
I feel relax. Now, I can do tasks when baby is napping and he will be not fussy any more.
Thanks for all replies who understand my situation and gave me helpful advices.
God bless all of you.

Anonymous wrote:Hi ,
I am working as nanny in Virginia.
I work part time 12.30 to5.30.
I am with family almost eight months.
Every thing is going well but I have one issue.
The baby I am taking care is 15 month.
He used to take long and short naps during day.
Now , the parents who are at home mostly gave him very very long nap in the morning. Then he can't take another nap during the day and become very fussy. The reason is they don't want baby walk up at night so they don't disturb.
I am okay with that but it's hard for me to deal when he became fussy.
They wants me to take baby out all days long. It's very hot out side. I take baby in my car to close area but still he is fussy.
When I talked with them they started to lie that the baby started to escape his afternoon naps. Which is not true. I am very nice with them I do little cleaning and two times in week cook for them it's my choice. But they don't want to give me short break during day. I mean they don't want baby take nap.
I am very upset with this situation. Please help me.

Play with him all the time.keep him busy, the baby must be bored....
Forget your phone...
Thanks

Wow another time waster reply. I don't use my phone at work. I think you never deal that situation. That's why you reply is nonsense. When a baby is fussy he don't want to play he cry for nothing. He don't know what he wants.
He seems in pressure. Sine he want to take nap.
We can't expect from a baby to be awake from 12.30 to 8.0.
Any way no complian . I am new in this form.
Someone who is here from long time told me there is few crazies. So just ignore. I think you are one of those crazies.
