Jeans and a tshirt, summer maxi dress...basically something comfortable. Never dealt with revealing clothes, but I'm not insecure so it probably would not give me pause unless we are talking way over the top.

OP here:

- We are finding them on care.com

- We are paying $18 per hour for a 12 week old infant.

- I am not insecure! I trust my husband and our relationship. I was a nanny in my 20's and wouldn't wear shorts that showed the bottom of my butt or a top so low my boobs looked ready to pop out. We don't expect a suit or blazer. My husband was the one who thought some of these nannies were unprofessional and inappropriately dressed.

We are also offering a lot of benefits. All meals on us, a metro card, access to our home gym and sauna while baby naps, new car for her to utilize on the job. We are offering $18 per hour net w/ 10 hours OT at $25 - $845 net per week. 3 weeks pays vacation, paid holidays, and 5 sick/personal days.

We were expecting a little more professional for our benefits package.

You're fine. There's one person here who always asks "where did you find her?" any time anyone has a complaint about their nanny. Just keep looking. You're right to note the wildly inappropriate for an interview clothes. Your compensation package and salary are totally fine. You're offering more than I offered when I was first hiring a nanny.

And how much are you offering to pay?

None of this matters.

Sure. Does your boss know that?
