3 months colic can kick in. How is he on the days nanny isn't there? Also the witching hour is very common at this age and it will pass

There is a lot of speculation in your post and not much else. ASK the nanny what is going on and go from there.

Also remember that some babies just go through a stage where they scream at night. That is why it is often called "the witching hour" I had one charge that started around 3 months. Lasted until he was about 6 months and then he was back to his normal happy self.

Completely agree. Talk to your nanny, but also know this may be witching hour- when I was on maternity leave I wanted to pretty much give up at 4pm bc the baby was a mess. Eventually she got over it but he could be in that phase
