| Bad ideas. Try social services for moving assistance. |
| You can take out loans for your spring semester or take a break until you can afford to go again. Apply for a credit card or bank loan to fix your car/move. Get a second job to pay it off. I'd reach out to family and friends first before ever asking my employers, no matter how wealthy they are. Maybe someone can offer you a place to stay until you save enough. It doesn't sound like you exhausted all other options before resorting to this. |

My employers paid all my bills one month, I didn't ask and they just paid the companies without me knowing, they also sent me my weekly checks. However that was a rare exception I lost both my parents weeks apart and they gave me a month off to grieve.
No way would I ever had asked them to do that though because it is unprofessional. If you worked for a day care or another company would you ask them for a loan? No, because it's not their responsibility. |
| I've never had a nanny come out and ask for a loan. However, we have helped our nanny out periodically by covering a car repair or income tax payment and allowing her to deduct it from her paycheck over time. We offered this after hearing her talk about the problem. She had been working for us for a while before this happened and was a valued employee. |
