The most common package is 1 week of PTO at employer's choice and one week at Nanny's choice. Then a few days of sick leave too. Your offer is not that far off unless they expect you to use PTO even on days the Feds are closed which normally means conditions are pretty dangerous. Have you asked if even fed closure days would require you to use PTO?
Just curious, how much leave do you have? And your gross earnings?
