Has anyone moved with an Au Pair

AP arrived to the US when we were renovating our old house to convert to a rental and our new construction house was several months from completion. We fully disclosed that this was the situation AP would be coming into to and discussed it a lot to be sure that she was comfortable with the upheaval. We ended up living for 3 months with my in-laws (shoot me now) but it was fine. Great, actually. My in-laws were wonderful about AP; made sure she had her own bedroom and privacy as required. We moved 45 minutes away so AP had to adjust to different routes after learning my in-laws' area, but it really was fine. AP also made friends in the area before we moved and then she continues to sometimes visit with those original AP friends, even though she has closer friends now. AP was helpful even with the move itself. Kept an eye on the kids, helped carry boxes just like everyone else in the family, helped unpack, etc.
