I'm not the PP you quoted but OP said she was originally hired to help the children with homework and studying for tests, that would imply they are in school but I guess it's possible there is a younger one who isn't.

Normal:
laundry -- if clarified ahead of time whether it's kids only or full family
dishes
cooking -- if clarified ahead of time
organize closets/offices -- if clarified ahead of time

Not normal:
Groom and bathe dogs
train dogs
clean up after dogs
wash cars regularly (so they're home, and you're washing their cars..? Are you live in?)
garden
hang shelves/fix doors/fix windows

You know this isn't normal, or you wouldn't be asking. Why on earth are you their pet groomer/handyman/car washer?

Neither family cooking nor family laundry is within the realm of nanny work. Of course she can agree to do anything she wants, as long as you compensate her accordingly. However, at some point she becomes more of your nanny, rather than your child's nanny. Do you seriously think she wants that?
