Agree with this in the sense that a great nanny makes the decisions about switching to FT preschool harder for a family. We are in this spot right now. Still part is luck as I imagine that the 5+year gigs are mostly for families that started the nanny with kid 1 and then had another child or two so their span of little kids was pretty long.
