| OP, whether you are real or not (I think you are not, and this is actually a compliment to you, because if I thought you were real than I would not have a high opinion of your intelligence), there are tons of good nannies in this area available for work, so there is no need to spend a second on somebody who is not a US citizen and is currently living abroad and can come to the US in three months as a tourist (=without permission to work). that simple. move on in your search. |

| OP, here. I'd like to see this thread close. The nastiness on this thread is totally uncalled for and disgusting. I asked my friend who currently has an au pair from Germany what she thought and that I had posted about the situation on DCUM. She agreed too that I was crazy, but not for my real questions about the nanny from South America, but for posting a question about it on DCUM. The bitterness and nastiness from au pairs and host families is outrageous on here. So, I'll just take my trollishness and writing style somewhere else! I'm going to stick to Georgetown nannies and encourage any one who was considering a foreign nanny or au pair to run like hell. Of course, you'd just call them trolls anyway. Have a great weekend! |
