Christmas gifts for 18 month old

Anonymous
My son will be 18 months right before Christmas and I’d love to see what other moms or similar aged toddlers plan on getting for Christmas.

So far our two “big gifts” will be a play kitchen and train table/trains. We’d like to do a few smaller gifts too and give family some ideas so drop your gift ideas below or what your toddler is currently into!

If he doesn't have it, the baby doll stroller is the best toddler toy around.

Op here: Any specific one? He absolutely loves baby dolls when we go to a store and will walk around and hold it saying “awww” so I planned on getting him his own baby and I bet he’d love a stroller!

NP here, but we have the one below that my DS uses for his Melissa & Doug doll. He loves it!

We liked the cheap umbrella ones.

Same poster - also adding that we recently got an indoor slide that is used constantly and considered getting a small indoor trampoline with handle but have space/safety concerns.

Op here: what indoor slide do you have? We are in the process of changing a spare room into his playroom so will soon have more room for some bigger indoor items. The indoor trampoline with handle bar is on my maybe list as I have friends who have one and rave about it.

What about a toddler balance bike? If you search that term on Amazon, you’ll see some where the wheels can be adjusted so it’s more like a tricycle. My youngest loved his when he was 1.5-3 and rode it around inside in the winter.

+1 to the baby doll/stroller idea.

Also, what about musical instruments?

When my son was that age, an older cousin handed him a present with a beautiful bow on it. His face lit up and he said "Tanks!"

He then yanked of the bow and walked away with it.

Any of these gifts would be nice. At that age they just like being included.
