Deer and Hibiscus and Rose of Sharon

Anonymous
I planted hibiscus and Rose of Sharon and they are beautiful and low-maintenance. All of a sudden, the deer have eaten all the flowers and now the leaves. I have the plants both in the front and back yard. The back yard is fenced in and I have no idea how the deer are entering the back yard. They are not in a location where I can put a fence around the plant. Any tips on this issue?

How tall is your fence? Deer can easily clear a 4-ft fence. You can try deer repellent sprays like Liquid Fence or Deer-off.
