Easterseals Falls Church

Hi, can anyone tell me about Easterseals falls church? Bonus if anyone has a kid on the autism spectrum or any disability.

Our DC has been there since infancy and is moving to Kindergarten in the fall. Easterseals has a lot of experience with children with special needs and abilities (mental, emotional, and physical) and understands how to partner with FCPS and APS for early intervention. The administration isn't always as great with communication as we would like, and a lot of teaching staff have moved on in the last year. But our teachers have always been amazing and we love the welcoming community.

Thanks PP. When I went to visit, I was surprised that it was next to a run down building and that the playground looked kind of sad.

Have you found the environment to be warm and welcoming? The staff? It kind of looked like an average daycare center and the person who toured me couldn't offer many details on what specifically makes them better for SN kids.

I don't have direct experience myself, but a friend of mine whose opinion I trust sent all 3 of her kids there (in recent years) and speaks highly of it.

Am a current Easter seals parent and second everything this poster says. The teachers have been great, although turnover has been high in the last few years. Lots of experience supporting special needs children including those on the spectrum.
