Curious what do you consider her manifesto? I’ll be honest, I’ve never read any of her books. I’m just an internet lurker. I followed her for a bit on fb but when Syd came out and her tone became OTT progressive I unfollowed. Then I found this rabbit hole.

So you unfollowed her because her daughter is gay? That's seriously the least obnoxious thing about Jen and I'm a registered Republican who is voting for Trump. The fact that she supports her gay daughter and gives her as much online love as she does the rest of her kids is pretty awesome.

BTW, some of her books are free on the premium Kindle subscription if you want to get a taste.

NP—and I think most people would relate to and applaud supporting her gay daughter. I read PP’s post as distinguishing a difference between “I love my daughter no matter who she loves and I’m proud to be her mom” and the “now that my daughter is gay—we should all go wave pride flags and cheer on open celebrations of BDSM and public displays of kink in the name of inclusion—and if you don’t squeal and clap with delight at the spectacle of a man in leather chaps spanking the dude in the dog collar while on the pride parade float, you’re probably a homophobe” brand of progressive brow-beating that is so often framed as support and acceptance.

For the record—I think any parent showing love and support for their kids in equal measure is fantastic. But her turning her child’s homosexuality into the focal point of her identity and then using it to make it all about her is just off.
It rings as disingenuous.

I don't know what his following looked like before her but it seems like all his followers are Jen fangirls so IDK whether that was her followers jumping over to him or if he just somehow appeals to middle-aged white ladies. I am a middle-aged white lady and I don't get the appeal but to each their own.

Tyler is attentive, even flirtatious with commenters who engage with his tee-shirt posts. For whatever reason, he's withholding any online affirmation of Jen and not acknowledging her interactions or even bothering to wish her HBD, just "love that kid." I hope she has some real friends who point these things out to her. I'm embarrased for her and I don't even like her that much.

The finger bite creeps me out so much. It's like he's trying to be sexy and childish at the same time. Just no. No serious person would be caught dead in that pose!

It's cringey as hell and is not sexy in the least. There is nothing sexy about him. He's not an unattractive person but he looks unhealthy and he needs Queer Eye in the very worst way. The more I look at him, the more I think he is not 100 percent heterosexual.
