Landon had a tougher schedule that year, but this SJC team is just as stacked and has a chance to do something special this year.

IL only ranked the top 10 players in the 2022 class so we really don’t know where they feel the players stand.

Several factors at play outside of players abilities with IL too.

One glaring factor is if dad is dropping some serious money to Ty he will give you a bump. 👀. Poor kid will be exposed in college.

I think there is a major disconnect between IL projections and what college coaches see. I trust college coaches' opinions a heck of a lot more than beat lax writers writing for Inside Lacrosse. College coaches are making bets on kids athletic and mental ability over a 5 - 6 year period. Some of the kids they recruit are complete busts, some are average, and some kids they land are total surprises (Pat Spencer ring a bell)

The reality is, some of the kids who you often hear about in the top 25 IL rankings for their respectful class year, make an impact in college, and some hardly even see the field, and some don't even make it past a year or two of playing.

My son graduated from an IAC school, he was not a blue-chip rate recruit out of HS. He worked his tail off and managed to play big-time minutes as a junior and senior. Ironically, some of the kids, who was highly touted coming out of his HS and rival schools in the area, didn't even play after their sophomore season.

This is a lot of coping. The attack will play a lot in college and the 24 is unbelievable. The Lehigh pole will definitely play. Has best stick in country. The SSDM will play right away for Cuse. I’m not sure what will stop the Cuse pole from playing. The new Fogo will also play a lot in college too. I don’t see the Cuse middie playing but he can score anywhere with both hands. Could see him transferring and tearing it up somewhere else.

Agree—SJC is a great team because they play well together and are well coached. Sum is greater than the parts.

You quite literally have no clue. That is not their schedule.

And I’m not so sure that most of those commits (other than the goalie) play much at the next level. None are really physically imposing and seem to be on the smaller side. Not much of a problem in HS but will be in college.
