Why for fu@ks sake is how she looks such an enormous focus here? Yes, she's beautiful. And rich...she also has a troubled, chaotic relationship history and has been divorced three times. She recently suffered a devastating break up. She is all of these things. They are all a part of her....looking beautiful has its limitations. It does not prevent pain or loss or aging, not matter how much it is fetishized here. It does not make life a cakewalk nor does it make her an exceptional person internally. It has to do with the fact that they both gallivant from relationship to relationship and neither seem like particularly present or stable presences for their impressionable, still young children. Jen G gets praise for seeming like a grounded parent who keeps her personal life private, and doesn’t uproot her kids lives for every new relationship she’s in.

I agree with you. I think SJP looks great, considering she's probably had a lot less work than J Lo (who also looks great, but the comparison is unfair). Anyone can have an unflattering facial pic taken in harsh sunlight etc.
