In 2016, the people of Pennsylvania were voting against Hillary Clinton. They'll do it again this year when they vote against Dr. Oz. In fact, all things considered, Donald Trump only won by 0.7% (45K out of 5.8M votes). Considering how much Pennsylvanians disliked the dishonesty of the Clinton clan, it was pretty close. In this case, I predict that Oz is likely to lose by double digit percentages. Oz's most popular point was immediately after the primary. Since then, he has slid and continues to slide. The more he opens his mouth, the less Pennsylvanians like him. And the more he shows that he is completely out of touch with the electorate. Even the pro-Trumpers are seeing him for the vapid, Hollywood, wealthy celebrity that has no clue how to even spell politics, let alone, work in politics.

I would be very surprised if the “f*ck your feelings” party had gained any open mindedness at all in the intervening years. Will some vote for anyone with the (R) after their name? Yes. But a lot of them look askance at all those “infidel” religions.

I would guess most people don’t know Dr Oz is Muslim. It’s not like his name has Hussain in it. And the Democrats aren’t as bigoted as Republicans so they’re not going to use it like a campaign slur the way the GOP did with Obama (who was Christian anyway.)

Cites right wing propaganda, has no clue. I realize this is a slightly off topic bit, but it just astonishes me how much people are swayed by media and have no idea.

No. Bill and Hillary Clinton were two of the most controversy-embroiled politicians of the last three decades. There are whole lists of very suspect actions and issues, from Whitewater, to the Rose Law Firm, to Travelgate, Filegate and her questionable/illegal trading.

This is not just right wing propaganda. I'm a moderate independent and have voted for many candidates from both parties over the last 30 years. It's progressive whitewashing to believe that the Clintons are above the law and deserve to have all of their dishonesty and coverups ignored.

We need to move on to better candidates. We need to be rid of the Clintons, Bushes and Trumps. Three dynasties that we are well to be rid of and hopefully none of them come back.

And yet, between the two of them, other than lying about a mistress, there wasn't one legal allegation or charge that stuck. Hmmm, maybe there was a right wing conspiracy after all?
