BRYC ecnl 04 lost to SJEB is last jeff cup 2-1.
SJEB finished behind metro in da. Guess who finished behind BRYC? McLean!
That MA ecnl division was so tough the the worst team in DA MA beat BRYC who finished ahead of last place McLean.
Oh and what did FCV and Arlington do to SJEB? 7-0 and 8-0.
Wonder what would happen if FCV or Arlington played BRYC or McLean. Think it’s pretty obvious unless you’re a McLean parent. But a cosch took our players 3 years ago!!! We are awesome...for a last place team.
Wait until this year. We have same players and tougher competition in Charlotte and courage. Hopefully we don’t finish last again. And 7000 Coaches still come watch us play while skipping the better ecnl teams.

Did you just up a score from 3 years ago? Because a DA team couldn’t play Jeff Cup. There was no Jeff cup this year. And they couldn’t play last year. So yeah, 3 years ago...is that right? Did you.....

Because the GA is such a badge that coaches will feel compelled to use their limited budgets to discover that hidden talent. No really. You have it right. Metro is going to kill it. FCV is comparable to PDA? Haha they wouldn’t beat PDA’s 2nd teams
Minnesota thunder and Arlington? Minnesota thunder would beat every Arlington team by at least 3 goals
McLean and Minnesota eclipse? Has anyone heard of MN Eclipse?
Carolina Elite and Metro United? Carolina Elite would pick their score...5, 10, 3 touchdowns
And still, so many Northern VA ECNL teams with losing league records.

Loudoun or McLean probably don’t have 3 kids on any given team that could make a top roster at PDA.
This wins the award for dumbest post of the year! I know FCV likes to win (usually against bad teams) so congrats!
FCV took Loudoun’s top players when they merged or whatever a few years ago.
Loudoun tied PDA 04
McLean played PDA in two age groups this year and tied both of those games.

I agree with this for next year but that will only be the case for like one year.
Prior to DA when it was only ECNL, college coaches from the top programs would tell players to go to an ECNL team because they will want to see them play against the best teams. That will be the case again soon.
Yep, they can’t assess talent if the team they are playing is just not that good. They need to see players play at speed and with high competition.
Even if the scouts come to the games, if you are a top player, how are you going to be prepared to play power 5 college teams if you play games against the weak competition in GAL.
This forum always talks about how good teams are based on records but competition and coaching are the most important things.
A great example is Christian Lavers’ club, FC Wisconsin, which rarely has teams that have winning records but the core of those teams have done very well in college with players receiving many awards at great schools.
I pity any NC Courage players when College Coaches come to watch them play against a last place McLean team.
You do know that McLean and NC courage used to play each other 2.5 years ago in this league called the ECNL. And believe it or not, McLean was better in most age groups and definitely the older ones. Oh yeah, McLean only has one age group now. Or do all clubs only have the 04 age group now? Since the 04 age group is the worst age group this area has ever seen, can we never mention that age group? That age group is your perfect example of why FCV shouldn’t exist as they have the most talent and they are at best an ECNL Showcase team.

Fcv 04 showed that they couldn’t beat Bethesda, Maryland United or Richmond. They were number 1 in their DA division. Oh..and they went to Tophat and got whacked their as well
FCV 04 is a good team. But the arrogance of staff has rubbed off
