Hundreds of people had recently toured the house...
With the lights on and the house staged and (I would imagine) a tour guide leading the way. Did the guide even open the wine cellar door?
Trying to navigate your own house in the dark is hard enough. I can't imagine breaking in to a darkened maize like the Ramsey home and making it up and down several flights of stairs with a child, a flashlight and who knows what else.
House tours I've participated in never include the basement. Was it part of the Ramsey's house tour?

Zero real evidence of the Ramsey's or any other suspect committing this crime.
Were they able to get back out of that window?
I don't think they tried. Even if they could not, who is to say that the intruder didn't slip out one of the doors inside. They didn't have an alarm. By the time the PD arrived everything was contaminated, no way to tell which door was unlocked, they just looked for signs of forced entry--- completely missing an open and broken window.
There were undisturbed spider webs in the window. That was not a point of entry.
This is not true.....

This is not something that is common knowledge. And this crime didn't happen in the age of the internet where you just hop online to find instructions for something. To me, this is something a sadist would know for sure. John and Patsy were not sadists.
Exactly.
I vaguely recall John having been in the military. But it's really not such a complicated thing.
You wouldn't choose to make a brutal weapon like a garrote from your own paint set if you accidentally killed your child. Garrote's used to be used to execute people in foreign countries. This is really beyond any rational thought.
Sure you would if you were staging a murder. There was no sign of an intruder.
Yes, there was.
Boot prints next to JB's body that did match the Ramsey's
DNA in JB's underwear and wasteband that didn't match anyone
Rope in the guest room closet next to JB's room
Open window in basement with random suitcase underneath
None of the above is accurate.

I think the Boulder police saw the Ramsey's differences as signs of guilt. Too cordial, too vain, too rich, etc -> guilty.
