We know Beth was at work. Why would Randall be at her place of business?

Randall arrives with one of the daughters and Beth isn’t with them.

TOP PCTURE: Look at the walls next to the bedroom door. The walls match the wood paneling over Randall’s right shoulder. There are decorative shelf’s on the left of door and a chair to the right off door.

BOTTOM PICTURE: Smooth walls, nothing on them at brightly lit.

How do we know that's the bedroom door in the top photo? The door in the bottom photo matches the walls in the foreground of the top photo, so it's at least consistent with part of the house.

Believe what you want. I believe two death scenes, Rebecca and probably Kate.

Fine, believe what you want, but the rest of us aren’t persuaded or interested. Please stop derailing the thread with this.

Because she’s obsessed!! Lol

I find it to be an interesting turn of events if true. Speak for yourself and not others.

How is this “because she’s obsessed” comment “speaking for others”?? SMH.

DP but I believe the poster was referring to the post before yours. I am also interested in the theory and do not think the discussion is “derailing the thread”.

Agree except that Kate has proven over and over again that she cannot take care of herself. She is an extraordinarily weak character with one exception — how she stepped up to parent Jack when they found out he was blind.

Sorry, I’m behind and just watched the Randall episode, but the most devastating moment for me - that no one has mentioned so far - was when we could see that Randall and Kevin’s memory boxes were full and Kate’s was clearly empty.

I didn’t think it was empty, just “less full,” which makes sense.

I didn't notice that. Wow, that's sad.

I personally don't believe this show goes out without a huge twist. I can buy that Kate dies.

Unless it's in a "got hit by a truck" scenario (which it isn't, if PPs are correct about wall/door style), that seems like a pretty cruel storyline for a morbidly obese actress to play, doesn't it?

Cruel?

The girls are much older, they are not even played by the same actresses. Good chance the girls are in their 40’s with Randall, Kev and Kate being in their 60’s or 70’s. That’s not cruel if you lived a fulfilled life. You gotta die sometime! I think it would be appropriate to end like Six Feet Under where you show how everyone ended.

+1 first I checked to make sure it wasn’t Lyric Ross, they looked so similar!

The girls are NOT in their 40s in that scene. More like 20s. Isn’t Deja pregnant and in medical (?) school?

Isn’t Deja 17 or 18 in the current time line? It wouldn’t be hard to age her to her 20’s and keep the same actress. Why change actresses? Also, I think Lyric Ross (Deja) is gorgeous!

I think they wanted to fake out the audience when they first showed the pregnant med student. They didn’t want us to know who she is…although, as usual in this show, I think the adult Deja and teen Deja are strikingly similar.

I agree. It is so distracting to change actresses unnecessarily.

Yes, the whole Rebecca scene is about ten years in the future. Kevin's kids are around 11. Randall's are in their 20s. Jack would also be maybe 13? But we've only seen him as an adult. When Toby enters the house, he says, "I talked to Jack and they are coming." That could mean Jack and his sister and Kate. Or, as PP suggests, it could mean that Jack is an adult and there are flash-forward scenes from two different time periods in that house.
