My political awakening is, I hope, similar to others here. This is a rupture, a marking of then and the future. We cannot be “regular” Democrats without being fully complicit with these crimes. The republicans are lost, and we have to accept that too, and prosecute and document everything possible.
I'm an old lady. As a teen, my dad would not allow me to wait tables because he had seen how some men treated them.
I don't think your DD has anything to worry about. i think the girls who fell prey to Epstein did not have the family support you likely give. but money talks. That was the way Epstein pulled them into his circle. And, it would appear that some families turned a blind eye.

Her legacy and her daughter's are tied to that ship. She had numerous times to cut her losses and bail, although that would've meant not being senator or sec state. They sink or sail together.
Indeed. It's the reason she lost the Presidency. It's also the reason she rose to prominence in the first place, since despite great talent and intelligence, no woman of her time could climb up the political ranks easily without being married to a prominent politician.
I see her as an emblem of the glass ceiling, and the personal and moral sacrifices women of her time had to make if they wanted a seat at the table.

Why isn't Trump doing this? Why is Trump only redacting his name?

It’s so easy to miss things that I went back to dig this out again so we could talk about it… What do people think about this?
I only vaguely remembered the incident and had NO idea of the (extremely suspicious) Epstein tie. Looked up the judge on Wiki, and it said the perpetrator was someone who had lost a case before the judge and was a militant anti-feminist type. So it doesn’t seem strange that he would have committed an unexplainable crime. But the situation looks different for sure once you know that the judge was assigned to an investigation of Epstein’s finances.

This is my litmus test for Dems. Either hold people accountable or get out of the way. Not just accountability for these survivors but for the trauma inflicted on our immigrant communities. Because it’s all the same! I’m so sick of Democrats being just a little better.
What is wrong with you? Are you simply abysmally stupid or is your head permanently up your derriere? MAGA is in charge of the White House, DOJ, and the FBI. Just what the H.ll more can Democrats do!
I’m talking about WHEN DEMOCRATS REGAIN POWER. Just wait for them to say we need to move on. NOPE. These people need to be in jail, and the camps need to close.
