Nope - she and the board are supposed to defend and help kids, not petition the Supreme Court. She owns this decision as much as any of them.
That’s a stretch. What’s left for other students if FCPS just capitulates in civil litigation and pays out huge settlements to every plaintiff who is a current or former student? And this lawsuit arose from an alleged assault two years before Tholen was elected.
What about the victim? Tholen is here now, and can influence this decision. If there are victims, and FCPS is somehow at fault, they should pay up. I agree there are limits, but I dont think this passes the test. Agree to disagree.
