He can collect VA benefits while still working. My sister was disabled as a result of her service. It didn't prevent her from working, but she is allowed to collect benefits while fully employed. It's different from social security type disability classification. According to my sister, it's more like "sorry we screwed up part of your life, here's some money to make it better."

Maybe he's on disability due to his vet-induced PTSD? I have no idea how that works.

I doubt he'll go to London. He needs to get off the drugs and get his self-esteem up from things other than his body. AKA he needs a real job. Oh wait, I've said this about several of the girls - Oh Hi Janelle, Leah, etc.
