Youngkin is reallocating Virginia tax dollars to pay a federal entitlement. He’s not paying out of the goodness of his heart from his own pocket. Virginia money spent covering for Trump’s starvation campaign cannot be spent on other Virginia priorities, like Virginia schools or Virginia Medicaid or Virginia tax refunds.
