If anyone wants to criticise the treatment of teen and preteen girls, they should be saying about these various clubs that treat them as a checks. Today's travel clubs are yesterday's almost free rec league. Parent and volunteer coaches with a coaching credential. Doesn't the VDA coach who was at FCV hav the rekord for ACL ters so far.

Rev is a couple years from that conversation. I give them a lot of credit for playing the games. CC has been doing this long enough and knows the players on both teams, he knew what this would look like.
We’ve been hearing the same charade since 2018. Just shut up and keep building more nonsense while presenting losses on your tax forms lmao
Well, considering they only started the girls academy program a few months ago, I’d say this is the starting line. Rev’s GA teams are brand new in 2024. None of the coaches or players were with Rev before 2024. And none of the players who were with Rev before 2024 are part of the GA teams. What happened is more akin to a acquisition than growth of their program. Rev acquired the majority of the GA program from FCV. We’ll see in years how that works out.
This is laughable. Over the summer the tune everyone was humming was that Revolution would be competitive since the majority of the GA teams and girls came over from St James and they were established teams. They got handled by VDA and now we're preaching patience😂
It's not the parents fault, that's what they were being sold and they believed it - competitive teams, GA level transfers from FCV (this wasn't the case based off some of the rosters)...maybe this weekend opened some eyes
Anonymous wrote:The GA teams will need a rapid purging at rev to compete in GA. Lots of weak players coming in from old REV. If REV doesn't compete in GA, they will not get the league cred required to be a a prominent club. The best players will continue to leave as they did with the end of DA, the reemergence of ECNL and the FCV blow up. Make the important roster changes now and purge 5-6 players who can't compete. At least move them.to GA2 if a team exists. Don't ruin it for the girls who work and practice hard and have done so for 13 years by making them play with lazy players who never have made any effort to improve or are just too dense to be competitive at this level.

The bench players who came from FCV were already weak and add 5-6 players from ReV and other places and you have a very weak squad. It makes it incredibly hard for the existing players who know how to play to do anything. Nobody open to receive a pass. Nobody who knows how to receive a pass, panick passing galore, kick the ball out. That's what I saw. Girls who actually know how to pass did t have anyone to pass to. This is a regression of 3-4 years for these teams. Still probably better than SJFC.
Ok Adam lol

Scores were all close. 2011s was a tie.
5-0 (09s) is close?
