To 13:28, the damage to the psychologist's reputation (and livelihood) is not limited to the 10-15 clients that may have used them for Fairfax WISC appeals this year.

If anonymous troll is commiting libel by defaming the psychologists, even if DCUM is not liable, they could be compelled to reveal troll's IP address by subpoena.

After all, with a couple/few hundred FCPS AAP appealers, if only half of those people go to GMU, that's 100-175 people who likely go to the >10 or so psychiatrists in the area to get a WISC done.

That means each psychiatrist is perhaps getting business to do up to 10-15 WISC exams, at $450 a pop, or up to about $5,000 per year in FCPS AAP appeal WISC business.

Clearly their livelihood "depends" on earning that $5,000 per year. That $5K a year also makes it worth losing their licenses and careers, I might add, to skew results and tell parents "what they want to hear."

no one accused anyone of taking bribes or cting unethically. There are many possible explanations for why a tester might consistently give scores higher than the CogAT/GBRS would suggest. No factual assertion of any wrongdoing was made by anyone.

By the way I don't see anyone threatening lawsuits. They are reporting it to the psychologists and the organization. If they see it as a serious matter, they might take some action.

11:23 Some of your info is incorrect. Level III services are a different process altogether. You must fill out a form and a school committee considers kids from teacher feedback and test scores. Our cenetr eligible letter also stated that if we turned down the center, we could receive Level III services at our school because we do not have Local Level IV. However, if you are deemed ineligible for Level IV services, you do not automatically receive Level III services. Again, there is a separate process.

Yes - their livlihood depends on parents appealing and taking extra tests.
