The right-wing nutters were crazy about Pizzagate, and the sooner the fact that they were misled by the leaders in *their own party*, the sooner the hard-right will start to eat their own.
The thing is, you need PROOF of this. He said, she said, is not good enough. There must be PROOF.
Is there proof in the Epstein files? Are there photos, videos, written testimony, admissions from Trump, from others that he actually had sex with underage girls? Or boys?
Without proof, there's no case. And Trump can deny it all he wants. Anyone can accuse a public figure of wrongdoing, but without proof, the accusation means very little.
You use all caps, and yet clearly you do not understand what the word means. Proof in math is not the same as proof at law. Evidence, such as testimony or documents, that persuades a trier of fact of a specific truth is proof at law. We have testimony, we have documents. Those amount to proof.
Allegations are not testimony.

This is not a Dem vs GOP issue
It's not a coast vs midwest issue
It's not us vs them
Not all billionaires are completely immoral
Not all the folks mentioned in the files are pedos or rapists
There's no reason this whole thing shouldn't be public and transparent.
It is beyond depressing and infuriating that there are so many people in this world who don't value another person's life and dignity, especially those of children. It's not a few bad apples but a huge swath of depravity.
Don't fight each other here - we are all angry and shocked - focus that energy on the criminals: the those abusing their power and those abusing children.
Well said. Bravo.

Don't post links to sh!t that requires downloading an app. Especially to a company founded by a far-right Japanese guy who grew up in Germany speaking German. Far right + Germany + Japan. When else was this a bad combo?
What are you talking about. Smart News leave left

Can't help but question the intelligence behind the keyboard when 2 out of 2 sentences are poorly written.
Saying something is left when the founder is right. Hmm that oddly sounds like liberal jewish-Americans that vociferously support ans defend genocide in only one area of the world and denounce genocide in all other instances. Do you really trust that news source when it's not searchable thus not easily fact checked?
What is the reason why 'SmartNews', which was said to be America's strongest app, has fallen from grace?
https://gigazine.net/gsc_news/en/20231218-smartnews-us-market-wrong/
As SmartNews actively handled merican political news, it seems that the attention of political news has increased in the United States. However, one former employee said, ``Mr. Suzuki was so fixated on the issue of polarization in American politics that he overlooked business issues.'' Specifically, Mr. Suzuki spoke about QAnon (a far-right conspiracy theory and political movement) at a company-wide meeting at SmartNews, and used company funds to attend a Donald Trump rally. Apparently it worried the staff.
Japan’s SmartNews was growing fast in the U.S. What went wrong?

The focus on political news in the U.S. was also motivated by Suzuki’s own personal mission. He considered himself, as an outsider, uniquely suited to address the polarization facing American news media. But former employees told Rest of World that Suzuki’s obsession with the divided nature of U.S. political life distracted him from more urgent business challenges. Several employees pointed to Suzuki’s research into the American far right, which included him presenting on QAnon during a companywide all-hands meeting and attending Donald Trump rallies using company funds.
This mission would, at times, lead Suzuki down far-right rabbit roles, according to several former employees. “[He] really wanted to get inside QAnon and figure out what’s going on there,” one former employee told Rest of World, saying Suzuki’s interest in its conspiracy theories only heightened during the Trump administration. “We were worried for him.”

This administration is mentally ill. Trump's defenders are mentally ill.
